Hamburg Alsterufer/DammtorplatzTraffic network of downtown Hamburg, Germany featuring the Ring 1 in the south and the Dammtorplatz in the north merging two main roads into the Alsterglacis. Both are crossed by the Dammtorstraße and the Alsterufer in north / south direction. Furthermore, the Metrobus service 5 runs via Dammtorstraße/Dammtorplatz, Europe's busiest bus line (50 000 passengers daily).

Cologne BarbarossaplatzTraffic network of Barbarossaplatz in Cologne, Germany. This was one of the first networks to test the tram traffic logic.

Münster (Westf.) Coesfelder KreuzThe Coesfelder Kreuz in Münster Westf., Germany consists of two intersections in the western part of the outer ring road as well as one of the main park-and-ride bus terminals.

Bremen DoventorTraffic network of the Doventor in Bremen, Germany including several intersections and tram lines.

Karlsruhe Durlacher TorLarge Intersection in the east of Karlsruhe, Germany. From the north runs the ring road which is crossed by the Kaiserstraße, Karl-Wilhelm-Straße and Durlacher Allee as well as several tram and bus services. The latter ones are not modeled.
The was one of the first networks to test the tram traffic logic. -
Hamburg Eimsbütteler EiTraffic network of the B4/B5 intersection in northern Hamburg, Germany, colloquial called Eimsbütteler Ei. To make the network more interesting, a fictional route for the upcoming tram system of Hamburg was added.

Frankfurt Ludwig-Erhard-AnlageIntersection in the shape of a large roundabout in western Frankfurt. At this location several A-roads as well as two tram lines converge.

Hamburg Lübecker TorLarge group of intersections in Hamburg St. Georg, Germany. The signal times of all intersections are coordinated to optimize the traffic flow in all directions.

Karlsruhe MendelssohnplatzIntersection in southern Karlsruhe, Germany. The main intention of this network is to compare CityTrafficSimulator with PTV VISSIM, since it offers a demo network of the representing the same location.

Hamburg MillerntorplatzLarge intersection and transport hub in Hamburg St. Pauli, Germany. Network includes Reeperbahn, Budapester Str./Ludwig-Erhard-Str. and Glacischaussee/Helgoländer Allee, as well as the bus services 36, 37, and 112.

Münster (Westf.) NeutorTraffic network of the Neutor intersections in Münster Westf., Germany.

Hamburg SchwanenwikLarge intersection in Hamburg St. Georg, Germany between the Public Hospital St. Georg and the Außenalster. The plans for the tentative Hamburg tram network are already integrated.
If you're interested in a quick start with CityTrafficSimulator you can download one of the example networks provided on this page. Each of them models a real-world intersection/area and has comes with fully pre-defined traffic volumes and signal timings. To test the networks, simply save the XML file to your computer and load it into CityTrafficSimulator using the Load Network button.
